Ashley Gholamhosseini is a recent graduate of Georgia State University
with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Art History. In
2006, Ashley was crowned Miss Georgia State University. During her reign
Ashley was a volunteer for MADD Georgia. |

Her experience as a copy editor for her school newspaper and magazine
prepared her for exciting internships with Georgia Magazine, PopCulture
PR and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Ashley has won the AJC
Journalism Scholarship and the Asian-American Journalism Association
Scholarship for her essay "Journalism as a Profession." |

A winner of the Regional Outstanding Delegate Award two years in a row,
Ashley has competed at the regional and national level for Model Arab
League on both the Social Affairs and Women's Rights committees. |
|
After being hit by a car in 2004, Ashley began promoting her platform
"Vehicle Safety: Safety for All." Her platform work has sent her to the
State Capitol for rallies and a meeting with Gov. Sonny Perdue and Miss
America 2006 Jennifer Berry. |

Currently employed by A. Brown-Olmstead Associates, Ashley will be
starting school at John Marshal School of Law in August. |
