Rachel’s platform “ORGAN
DONATION – Making the decision early to share life,”
came about from having
experienced the near loss of a young aunt due to heart failure, but who
survived because of a successful heart transplant from a young donor.
Rachel realized the vast
potential of young drivers who could make the decision to become organ
donors, and is working to educated them on the valuable choice they can
easily make when they first get their driver’s licenses.
Rachel has enjoyed
getting to know the people of Columbus
and participating in special events throughout the city.
She is looking forward to
the events planned for 2008 and is excitied about representing Columbus in the Miss
Georgia Outstanding Teen Pageant in June.
