Tracy
is a junior this year at
Harris
County
High School.
She currently has a
4.0 grade point average. Some of her
scholastic honors include the Principal’s List, winning science awards
from the year 2003-2005, winning English awards in the years 1998-2001
and 2003, and being in the gifted and honor program since the first
grade. One of her favorite honors, however, was being voted most likely
to succeed by her class of 2009
Tracy
has attended four National Leadership Conferences with the Lead America
Organization in the area of law. Having the
dream of attending Harvard
University
to become a prosecuting attorney since the fifth grade,
Tracy
enjoys the opportunity to learn and execute the skills she learns at the
Lead America Programs. Tracy
was also selected to attend the Governor’s Honor Program in 2007,
majoring in English and minoring in Social Studies.
Working to promote her platform,
The Freedom of Speech, Tracy has given speeches and worked with her
civics and AP U.S. History class to promote this important issue. Her
thoughts are that regardless of one’s race, religion, or gender,
everyone should be able to voice their opinions and have access to this
right. She is currently thinking about starting a debate club at her
school.
Tracy’s interest include playing
the piano, modeling, going to the mall, talking on the phone,
participating in mock trials, going to the movies, and being able to
hang out with her friends and family. She loves being able to laugh and
bring a smile to other people’s faces.
